Hi Brenda;
Again, I have all of the same info as the others. Linda Ameline O'Loughlin is my first(double cousin). My mother Dolly was the family historian, when she became ill with cancer in the early 1970's, I had just moved to Wisconsin. Linda helped her copy all of her info into notebooks for myself and my sibblings. Most of Linda's information came from my mother.

I told you that I had Angelique Dion as Alphonse's mother, that is not who I have, I have Mary Anne Rivard.

All I have found for Alphonse is a census of Teton Co. and it has him as being born in 1840, his draft card which has his birthdate as October 26th, 1832 and in the Montana deaths he died in 1917 at Choteau, Teton Co. MT.

I have the original marriage license of William John Carrier and Flora Azure but none for Alphonse as he and Angeline were married in Canada.

In the Teton County History Book, Linda stated that Alphonse's parents were Moise and Susette Champion. While I was home this last summer I had a chance to view some photo albums that another cousin had at a reunion and in one of them there was a photo of Moise and Susette Champion. I am going to check into these names, there has to be a connection some way. This is driving me batty!

Take care, Rita
