This is a family update for the LeBlanc-Carriere-Hollier Family history and genealogy.
LEBLANC - WE ARE THE DE VILLENEUVE LEBLANC FAMILY

This family trilogy begins with Charlotte LeBlanc, born Abt. 1827, according to the 1860 St. Landry Parish census. She was from Avoyelles Parish. She was not of the Acadian LeBlanc's who stem from Daniel LeBlanc. She was of the
de Villeneuve LeBlanc family that stems from Pointe Coupee Post. Her son William LeBlanc married his second wife Sarah (Ford) Carriere, June 1907. This union would unite de Villeneuve LeBlanc-Carriere family.
Paulin Carriere, born Abt. 1834 family is of Acadian descendant. Paulin Carriere appears in the 1870 and 1880 U.S. Census as the brother of Marcelin Leblanc, born Abt. 1811, also living in the house is Susan, the wife of Marcelin. Marcelin LeBlanc and Susan appear living in two parishes in the 1870 census. Marcelin was a sugar planter in Assumption Parish, who I think owned land and property in St. Landry Parish as well, eventually settling in St. Landry Parish by the time of the 1880 census.
Theophile (pere) Eugene Carrière, the son of Paulin Carriere married Odile Hollier, 1897. This union would unite the Carriere-Hollier family
