Written on back: Picture taken Oct 7,1912 Died cot 29,1912 Funeral was at Chillicothe , Ill Oct 29,1912. States he was born on January 14, 1818 . This is a copy of the original photo. But is a older copy. I believe he was married to Eliza Jane Hoyt. Not sure.
Egbert Decatur Carrier (Uncle Bert)
written on back: Born April 23, 1853
Died 1921 Lived in Deland , Ill & took care of blind mother. (Sarah L Carrier until his death after which she was taken to Urbana, Ill to live with her son Wm. Carrier & his wife Martha. She died the in 1925 but was taken back to Deland for burial
