Shelley,
Earle & Vernon were the adopted children of Willis Haviland Carrier, the founder of Carrier Corporation (he was the inventor of air conditioning).
Earle was born in 1905 so you could probably add 20 to 30 years to date that clipping.
Is there any more info in the clipping that you could post here or could I get a scanned copy of it off list?
