Martha Allen Carrier

Hey all,
Has anyone ever linked Martha Allen Carrier (Salem Witch Trials) to our W. John Carrier yet? My son is suppose to do a Socials Studies Fair project and he chose The Salem Witch Trials and actually told his teacher that we are related to Martha. I have looked and looked for info on the genealogy line and I can only find W. John Carrier born in 1705, but the trials were in 1692.
Any help can be appreciated.
Dorene (Taylor) Carse
