Va. John Lincoln b. May 3, 1716 at Freehold, NJ s. of Mordecal & Hannah Salter.
His parents and family moved to eastern PA c/a 1730.
John moved to Rockingham co. Va (then Augusta) with his family in 1767 and settled on Linville Creek.
He was called Va John to distinguish him from the other John Lincolns.
Va John married Rebecca Flowers Morris a widow...
One of their children was John Jr. b July 15, 1755...
John Jr. married June 27, 1782 to Mary Yarnell b 1760 da. of Francis and Mary.

I am a descendant of W. John Carrier and Jemima Nicholas... Through Henry Carrier and Mary Nicholas...
then William Carrier and Catherine Yankey...
then William Henry Carrier and Sarah Yankey and so on...
