Was Benjamin's father Henry married to Elizabeth Hayes? I have a Henry Carrier and Elizabeth Hayes m: 19Nov 1805 in Garrard Co., KY who are my 6xgr grandparents. Info I have on my direct line is as follows:

Henry(b: abt.1785/d:1840) and Elizabeth (b: abt. 1780)
Henry and Elizabeth Carrier>son:Jonathan Carrier b: 1815 in Garrard Co. KY/d: 1880

Jonathan Carrier m: Sinai Cruse 24 March or May 1835 in Gallatin, IL (Sinai b: abt.1820 KY/d: 13Dec 1854 in Carrier Mills, Saline Co., IL)

Jonathan and Sinai>daughter: Sara Jane Carrier b: btwn:1836-1846 in IL/m:John Wesley Nunley 8Aug 1861, in Saline Co., IL.
If your Benjamin and my Jonathan could have been brothers please contact me to compare notes.
