Jonathan b 1775 supposedly son of W. John Carrier Jr and Mary Morrell, W.John jr. B. about 1728 son of immigrant W. John Sr and first wife unknown. John jr born about 1728 presumably in England Family immigrated to Shenandoah Virginia in the mid 1700's . John Sr. Died there in the 1770's John Jr. and Mary came to Sullivan County in the late 1770's . John Jr. Fought in Rev war in the North Carolina Continental Line. John Jr. returned to Virginia after Rev. War were he died in the 1780's. Mary returned to Sullivan County with sons John ,Jonathan and Thomas. were she remarried. Her second husbands name escapes me for the moment as I am working off the top of my head without notes. I believe this info to be correct but have not proven all of it. I am descended from Jonathan's line twice and maybe through John's line as well.
