Mark -- I know that David Carrier was the father of my William C. Carrier (dob 1826) John C. Carrier (dob 1829 PA) was William's brother. It is very possible the Miller you indicate was Rowena's brother. I show her siblings only as Clara (1836 NY), George (1838 PA), Jacob (1842 PA), Ann (1844 PA) and Harriet 1847 PA).

In regard to Shugars, I have traced the family to John C. Shugars and Elizabeth Yount. Their children were Jacob A. Shugars 6/13/1857 PA - April 2, 1923 Muskegon, MI. He married Mary Violetta Carrier. Jennie Channie Shugars June 18, 1864 PA - August 27, 1900 Muskegon, MI married Judson Alvin Carrier, Mary's brother. Other Shugars siblings were Polly, Amos, Adam, Reuben, and John. I have very little info on these siblings. However, I have been able (through other researchers) to track the Shugars family to the present.

Of course, I have information on the families in Allegan County, William Carrier's widow remarried there and my ggrandfather John Carrier's wife Elizabeth Motter was from there.

Feel free to contact me direct for detailed info.

Pat
