Jean,
I am sure that your father is the Jim Carrier I was looking for. My Grandfather John H Mays was his guardian for some time after the war. I assume WWI. Anyway the family was told that your father was a nephew, however I can't find any connection to Carrier, and wondered if Jim could have been his son. I don't think that was the case as I have since learned that information that John H had a son named James was not true. However do you have any idea how the family was connected. Your sister is buried here in Bluff Cemetary, and for a time lived with my Aunt and Uncle Arch and Leetha Mays. You can contact me directly at docandme1@aol.com if you would like.
