Hello Sharon,
I noticed that my sister Peggy Walker responded to your message about George and Clarissa Carrier. I had looked at the 1910 and the 1920 census for Michigan and located our Carrier group. I can't put my hands on the information right now. If my memory is correct my father Percy Robinson shows up in the 1910 Census with his mother Phoebe Carrier Robinson with her parents. My father was born January 23, 1905. The census is for Isabella County, Vernon Township There are other children in the household and I think one is a Walter. I will try to get back to the library soon and check out this info. My father was raised by his grandparents. Somewhere in my stuff is the little paper my father got at his grandmother's funeral. Will get you that info to see if we are talking about the same Carrier family. We have been searching for relatives on my father's side but without much luck. He died in 1959 and we never knew much about his family. He had been married to a lady named Ethel when he lived in Midland and they had two children Janice Carrier and Gerald (Jerry) Carrier. Jan lives in Texas but said she didn't know much about the Carrier side. Jerry died in the early 1960's I think.
Hope this can give you a lead.
Nancy Carrier
