If Omri (Onisi) Carrier d.December 8, 1812 Colchester, Ct., is same Carrier who is the father of Omri Gates Carier as you stated, then yes, terrific! Actually Omri Gates Carrier or his wife Harriet A. Potter is somehow a descendant of the Hancock's (that is: the family of John Hancock the signer of the Declaration of Indepencdence).
I have a book "Men of Mark in Connecticut" Volume V written in 1910, and under my Great Grandfather Isaac A. Allen Jr., it States that Harriet J. Carrier (the daughter of Omri G. / mother of Isaac) is a descendant of the Hancock's, but does not mention how beyond her. It also states that the "Three brothers Hancock" purchased what is now called Wethersfield, Connecticut from the Indians (No idea if they are the same Hancock's but would assume some perhaps distant relation).
For information I have Omri Gates Carrier wife as Harriet A. Potter (nothing more on her) I have Omri Gates Carrier parents as Omri Carrier (with out the O.)(you note an O for Onisi thats why I ask if it is the same Omri) and Rebecca Parsons...thats it!
I wish to thank you, and really appreciate your quick response. I assume with the name Carrier you maybe related some how. I am a descendant of Harriet J. Carrier and Isaac Almarin Allen, they would be my Great Great Grandparents.
With this Carrier, Potter, and Parson branch I have no information but what I have shared with you to make the links with.
Any help or information would be greatly appreciated and I am always happy to share any information I have.
Can you offer anything on the wives mentioned??

Thanks, Bill
