Dear Lisa,
Some other spellings for Carrier are: dit Carriere, La Carriere, Carriere, Carier, Coyer, Coyee, Coryer. Don't know of what other spellings there is out there of Caraway.
Was it possible that Grandma went back to Canada before she died, or was living with one of the other children, or with a brother or sister of herself or her husband?
Good Luck with your search!!
