Still researching Carrier as it relates to former rural school teachers. Found online: Oral (Chub) William Carrier b. 1/14/1907 d 1/2/1971 in Ohio..was son of Euphrestus Marion Carrier and Dora Miranda Wonderling. Oral married Anna Lucille Cowan of Roseville, Jeff Co. includes names of children. I founs our that Oral was a school teacher at the Hallton, Spring Creek Twp., Elk County schoolhouse in mid 1930's. I have a photo of Oral with his students which is in the write up of the other Hallton teacher, Miss Kamperin.
