Trying to find the parents of Elmer Carrier born 1892 in
Louisiana--1920 TN census shows his parents were also born in LA. Only sibling info is that he had a half-sister Mathilde with some connection to Opelousas, LA.
My friend's family memories about this grandparent have not been helpful in finding any definite information; says they may have been of Cajun descent. Elmer was in TN in 1910 when he married & remained in TN, have not found him on the 1900 or 1910 censuses---looked under Carrier, Charrier, Carryer! Any suggestions for research would be greatly appreciated.
