Lucinda Elizabeth "Bettie" Caudle born

Va.; She died 5 Apr 1926 at age 67 at
Pilot Mountain, N.C. & buried at Beulah
U M Church, Low Gap, N.C. Lucinda
Elizabeth "Bettie" Caudle was the dau. of
James Caudle & Mary _______. Children
born to Bettie & Jonce Carico are: Eddie
Clayton Carico; James Franklin Carico;
Ida Pearl Carico; Elba Lee Carico; Mary
Ethel Carico; Willie Floyd Carico; Mallie Mae Carico. Back in 1987, Willie Carico
carried me to Grayson County, Va. and
showed me where Abel Carrico IV was
buried along with his wife and at least one
child. Willie also went with me to the Rev.
William Carrico Cemetary at Stephens
Creek (also known as the Creed Carrico
Cemetary.) Grayson County, Va. is a very
beautiful county and if you ever been there
and ran the back roads you can see why
Abel Carrico II; Abel Carrico III; and Abel
Carrico IV settled there. I have had the
privilege to travel over about two thirds of
those roads. Andrew Johnson "Jonce"
Carico was the son of Abel Carrico IV and
Rebecca Russell Carrico and was my
great uncle.
