Thanks for replying to my message. As for your question about the name Carricoffe, this like I said was told to us by my grandfather. I did find out some more information on Simeon, He spelled it Siemon, and was a private in the Va, military. He was born in 1833-Grayson Co. Va. but enlisted in Carroll Co. Va. on 08-14-62. In 1905,72 yrs old, he was a resident of Augusta Co for 25 yrs, He is also receiving a pension.
I am also in contact with another member trying to make a tree with this name at this time- Will let you know if any more information comes up. Keep in touch Sara
