Good Morning Don,
Here is what little we have as to back up.We are aware that no one knows for sure as to Cornelius Carrico.My wife is from James, Vincent etc.We have been trying to put the entire family into our program.What a job!Would like to have what ever you are willing to share.

Cornelius Carrico was born 1772 in Charles County, Maryland.
He married first, Susanna Shanks in Nelson County, Kentucky 27 Jan 1806 and second, Theresa O'Bryan in Washington County, Kentucky 24 May 1823.(No record has been found of issue, if any, of this second marriage.)
The child of Cornelius and Susanna (Shanks) Carrico was:
-Edward Carrico (he was born 1810) who married Matilda Dillehay (1811-), daughter of John C. Dillehay, 23 Feb 1825.(This must be 1835 as first child born 1837.)
The children of Edward and Matilda Dillehay Carrico were:
-Thomas H. Carrico (b. 1837).
-Susan M. Carrico (b. 1838).
-Lucetta J. Carrico (b. 1839).
-James M. Carrico (b. 1843).

To Edward a certain piece or parasol [sic] of land in Washington Co. of Kentucky I now live on supposed to contain one hundred and thirty acres. Cornelius Carrico b 1798 was the Cornelius Carrico that m the sister of Francis Hilary O'Bryan, being Teresa O'Bryan b 1797, m May 24, 1823. The bond for this marriage was signed by Francis H. O'Bryan and after the death of Francis H. in 1832 the repayment of the bond was to Teresa O'Bryan(t) and 4 male heirs, all of which were minors at that time. Being: Edward, James Robert, Ignatius D. and Francis H. Jr., witnessed by Edward Carrico and ? Edward O'Bryan.
