My grandfather's name was Walter Hamilton Carico from Stauton, Virginia. His father's name was Simeon Caricoffe. He always stated that they (he and his brothers shortened it to Carico) because of theiir nationality. He never stated what that was/ Sorry but I can not find out any more information. If anyone can help me I would deeply appreciate it, because all that would know is deceased.
