Dennis S. Carrico and Jane Clarke are my ancestors also and I can find no Margaret in the list of their children. My records show they had 10 offspring, which are James Carrico b.1817 d. 1887 Nathaniel b. 1805 Elizabeth b. 1808 Tabitha b. 1810 Ruben b. 1812 John Clarke b. 1819 Dennis H. b. 1821 Thomas C. b. 1825 Susanna b. 1822 Sylvester b. 1835. As I mentioned before Dennis H. and his brother James (my G-Grandfather) came West on the Oregon trail and settled in Washington and Oregon State. Maybe Margaret was the middle name of one of these daughters and she used that instead of her given name.
