I had given up on ever getting any response to anything related to the Washington DC Carrico's. I truly believed that I was the only person interested in any Carrico's that did not move South or West from Maryland. Both the names Joseph and William Carrico are significant. I am a descendant of William Bartholmew Carrico (1762-1853). His first marriage was to Sarah Moore Berry in 1808. In 1813 William B. Carrico fights in the War of 1812 in Washington DC. His second marriage was to Mary Ann Tracy Anderson at St Peter's Roman Catholoc Church in Washington DC 1n 1821. I have been researching the Washington DC line of Carrico's for at least 5 years.
