Blaine Carrico was actually Monnie Pruitt's (not Mallie) nephew. Albert Blaine Carrico moved to Michigan. For whatever reason he changed his name to Albert Blaine. He dropped the Carrico name. He was a telephone engineer. he married Irene Hammer. They had two children. Albert Blaine, Jr. & John Wiley Blaine. They both lived in Michigan until their Death...
Monnie Pruitt was my g grandmother. She was the daughter of Gordon and Thursa Delp Carrico. I have done extensive research on this branch of the family. I also, have alot of photos.

Gordon Frankline Pruitt b. 5/21/1907 d. 2/23/1977 Sioux City, Iowa. Interred Magnolia Cemetery. Married Verda Bell
Millard Neal "Bus" Pruitt b. 10/15/1909 d. 9/3/1984. Buried Rose Lawn Cemetery. Marion, VA Married Sylvia Bales Catron Pruitt.
Claude Kent Pruitt b. 3/12/1912 d. 3/14/1990. Buried Slemp Cemetery. Sugar Grove VA. Married Annie Mae Cook. 2nd marriage to Janet Anderson.
Richard Thompson Pruitt b. 11/18/1917 d. 1/3/1945. He was killed in Belgium at the Battle of the Bulge WW II. He was interred in Belgium, but was later brought back home and laid to rest at Rose Lawn Cemetery, Marion Va. He married Helen Houck.
Mary Irene Pruitt b. 7-24-1920 d. 3/30/2007 buried Mountain View Cemetery, Chilhowie VA. Was married to Hugh Berry.
James Edward Pruitt b. 11/17/1922 d. 6/20/2008. (my grandfather) Buried Rose Lawn Cemetery, Marion Va. He married Virginia Wyatt Pruitt.
Helen Virginia Pruitt b. 9/4/1914 d. 7/3/1947. She is buried at Rose Lawn Cemetery. Marion Va. She was married to Crowe Huffman.
They also, had a child to die at birth. Her name was Amanda Pruitt 12/31/1916.
