This is written on the top of a family tree my Mother got from Galax Va:
Compiled by Mrs.Laura B Carrico Witcher,Canon City Colo.and Andrew Carrico,of Stevens Creek,Grayson Co.,Va.in 1913,Drawing by Maud Carrico Russell,Mc Alester,Akla.Made January 9,1931 while Cousin Laura B was visiting cousin Maud M.in McAlester,Akla.
Another note on the tree reads: Abel Carrico one of three brothers who came from France,He first settled in Maryland.at home of his son William on a visit,and was buried there(in Grayson Co.Va)In the 1785 census of Va.he was listed with son William,M. Miss Kent in the valley of Virginia.
This tree list children of Able Carrico as Joseph,Peter,Sallie m.Isaac Moore,Sims,Rev William,Nancy m.William Hanks and Abel Jr.Carrico,sorry not many dates on here.
