Thanks a lot for the quick response, guys. It makes sense now that F.M. is a child of Ignatius and Josephine. Unfortunately, I don't know much about their descendants that aren't direct ancestors of mine, which include their son William, born 1862. All direct ancestors other than my dad are long dead, and I'd give anything to go back and ask more questions. I can tell you (at the risk of stirring up a hornet's nest) that people from that part of the world can be pretty strange when discussing relatives, and grudges and feuds can take on a life of their own. My own grandfather used to claim that we weren't related to a certain "set" of Carricos from Fancy Farm, which is an obviously ridiculous assertion when you think about it. "Can't we all just get along?"

I'll continue my search for Ignatius' final resting place. Thanks again for taking time to respond.

Yours,

Chris Carrico
