Sharon, this Thomas Carrico (1793-1881) you are asking about is my great-great grandfather. George (1821-1867?), and Thomas A. (1827-1902) were two of his 15 children. They were both farmers in Charles County, and Thomas A. was a doctor as well. The last of his children was my great-grandfather Andrew Carrico (1869-1954). Charlotte Hall, though in St. Mary's County, is very close to the Charles County line, and was the closed P.O. to Thomas Carrico's farm. By 1845 most if not all of the Carrico's remaining in Charles County were of this line. I have a lot of info I would be happy to share if you are interested. Unfortunately, I have not been able to connect Thomas to Peter - Thomas' father died shortly after Thomas was born, and consequently left little record of his life. If anybody else out there can help in this area, please get in touch.
