My g-grandfather was George Mitchel Kirk, b.1807 supposedly in VA. Family lore has it our ancestors came from Scotland, but I can't get past this George Mitchel Kirk. The story is that GMKirk was brought to TN when a "small boy" by his father, whoever that was. No mention of a mother. Can't find any connection in VA/WVA so maybe they were only in VA temporarily. Anyway, it's George Mitchel Kirk's parents I'm looking for.

Appreciate any suggestions you may have. By the way, is that book still available and if so, where can I find it?
