Read your reply......and saw...William Washington Carroll/Carrell.......this was the name of my great grandfrather.....came from somewhere in Tennessee......and was wondering if he has any connections to my family.....

I don't know where in Tennessee....but he married a Mary Jane Shoemaker.....they settled in San Augustine County, Texas....they had 2 son.....William Washington Carrell jr. and a Johnny Carrell....died age 8......
