How Do You Pronounce This Name?

Can someone please tell me how you pronounce this name? Also is it associated with the KERR name of Scotland?
And does the spelling CARIE of 1713 Scotland perhaps an indication of this surname?
Does anyone know if any CARRE's have roots in Scotland?
This name seems to be associated with the British Isles but I have a very close Ydna match to someone of this name and my family are ALL from Scotland which makes me wonder if this surname weren't orignally spelled KERR/CARR of which I have found Several of those spellings linked to my family in the old Scottish records.
Thank You.
