Hello Edward. regarding your inquiry about the Carraways in early America (caraway-caroway-carroway--carawaye) go GOOGLE the Clayton Carraway Connection --our cousin Louis McCloud of Ocala Florida has presented a plethora of information. You will discover that all Carraways are connected to the original JOHN who immigrated circa 1636. and go from there. His father Edward Carraway married Ane foster in LaCock or some say York England 1595. Thas as far my research has delved in to our family connection.

I being Edward Allen Carraway--direct descendent of original John 13 times removed--the last of those named after original John Carraway is John David Carraway direct descendant of original John's is believed to have been John David Carraway of Craven/Pitt/Beaufort Counties N. C. he passed away 1932--He being my grand father.

You will be most pleased wiht this connection site. Yours Truly---Ed Carraway, 95294 twin oaks lane, Fernandina Beach, fl. 32034 originaly of Pitt County North Carolina. call any time--904-277-6666- 866-429-6223 H and O.
