Sorry, but I do not know where Henry and Elizabeth Caraway were buried. I only know he was in Wayne County when he died. In a deed right after he died there was mention of "Henry's old line" and went on to say it was near Whitfied's old field. Apparently there was a community of Whitfields for it appears on the 1775 NC map, just south of the Nuese River in what is now Wayne County. The other Henry County deeds mention "Caraway's Creek". You might look at the USGS maps of the area to see if there is a creek by that name on one. I know that many of the streams in that area still bear the names of the earliest times. I located my ancesters land on Falling Creek by that method. But, by the way, did not find where he was buried either. Unfortunately, many were buried in family plots which were abandoned when the family died out or moved on.
