Gail,
What you call a "Passenger list" for Sarah Godfrey in 1652, sponsered by Thomas Dodford, was Thomas, the father of Sarah Dodford/Dadford Godfrey claining the free 50 acres of land given for transporting individual from England to VA.
Sarah had already married John Godfrey in VA prior to 1652.
Thomas' court records and will left property to Sarah Godfrey and John and Sarah Godfrey's children.
