Over time I have found the following: James C. was the son of James and Elizabeth Crown Carraway of Oldham Co. Ky. The family is found in Oldham by 1840, James dec'd by 1949, leaving his widow Elizabeth and 8 children at home. Some of the siblings married in Oldham Co., some never married, but traveled with the family to Daviess and McLean Counties of Ky.
