Seeking information on my gg-grandfather, Archie Evans Carraway and preceeding lineage.
Wife's name was Julina (or Juliana), daughter Annie (my g-grandmother, married John A. Heath), son Archie E., Jr. born in 1863 just prior to his enlisting in the Confederate Army. He was wounded in the Battle of Atlanta and died from his wounds in the CSA hospital in Jonesboro. His name however does not appear on the five Talbot County unit's muster rolls that I have so far been able to find. His son, Archie, Jr., became a minister and later moved to Texas. Any information and/or assistance is gratefully appreciated.
