This is what I have on Ezekial Archie Carraway: b. 22 Feb 1834, Covington, Alabama, d. 15 June 1901, Plantersville, Grimes Co., TX. He married (1) Lyddie Whitten (2) Sarah Ann Redd. E. A. Carraway was son of Ezekiel Carraway Jr., whose household can be found in 1850 Dale Co., Alabama census. Ezekiel--the father--might have been born in Darlington Co., SC. He was the son of Ezekiel Sr., and grandson of Elijah Carraway of Darlington. Elijah's father, Thomas, was the brother of John Carraway, who was the grandfather of Wm. Carraway of Sampson Co., NC. He married Rachel Williams. The Carraways of Darlington Co., migrated from NC between 1800 and 1810. Ezekiel Carraway Jr. moved to Alabama about 1834. His son, Ezekiel A. Carrway moved to Texas about 1870, and located near Leesville. He then moved to Grimes Co., where he died. Hope I didn't repeat what everyone has already said TOO much. Joanne
