Charles Carraway and Mehetabel Nelson were married in Craven co. NC 31 Aug 1827. No other information can be found on her. Her father Col. Joseph Nelson died in 1831, nothing on her in his estate papers so it is assumed she is deceased. There is a Charles Carraway who is deceased in 1837. No mention of a wife in his Will. Is he the husband of Mehetabel? Need birth and death dates on both an if any children.
