Thanks, Tim, for responding Nora Carr was born on Dec. 17, 1865 according to her death cert. She died Jan. 29, 1947. On the cert. it listed her father as John Hayes and mother Cathrine unknown.
William was born in Scotland in 1868 and died in PA sometime between 1912 to 1920. (There's a son listed on the 1920 census about 8 yrs. old but no William).
I sent for Kathrine's (their daughter) birth cert. and was told she was born in Frugality PA in 1900. It also stated that William was a miner.
They were on the 1910 census in Hastings, PA. Nora and some of the children (Katherine was married by then) on the 1920 census in Spangler, PA.
Thanks again for any help you can provide. I'm really stuck.
