I'm attempting to find the original Carpenter who owned land in the Wawayanda Patent.
This extraction was in "Calendar of Wills, 1626-1836" by Berthold Fernow.
John Carpenter of Goshen, NY, willed lands in the Wawayanda Patent and the Connecticut Purchase. He named wife Elener, son Anthony, daughters Hannah and Eunice. Solomon Carpenter Jr. and Nehemiah Carpenter were witnesses. Will date Oct 3, 1760; probate Nov 8, 1760.
But thus far, I haven't found the original Carpenter and will continue studying the link that you sent.
