I've been going through my grandmothers paper clippings and typing the obits onto genforum. Since they apparently all come from the Kirksville paper I am posting a copy onto the Adair County, Missouri genforum if you would like to see all of them that I have typed in so far.

Suffered Stroke Thursday Night; Had Been Ill
Mrs. Minnie McKenszie, 72, died last night about seven o'clock at her home, 607 E. Cottonwood Street. She had been ill the past few weeks and suffered a stroke Thursday night.
The body is at the Davis Funeral Home, 202 E. Washington Street. No funeral arrangements had been made last night, but burial will be in LaPlata beside the body of her husband, O. B. McKenzie, who died six years ago.
She was born Nov. 18, 1879, on a farm west of LaPlata, and had lived in LaPlata, Macon, Moberly and Gibbs, where Mr. McKenzie was agent for the Santa Fe Railroad Company. She was a member of the Methodist Church at LaPlata.
surviving are three sisters, Misses Ada, Manie and Frances Carpenter of 908 E. McPherson Street, and two brothers, E. E. Carpenter of Van Kyke, Mich., and C. J. Carpenter of Forest Lake, Minn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh F. and ZeRuey Rebecca Buck Carpenter, two sisters and one brother.
