Hello,

Just wanted to show this postcard of a Well under construction on the CAROTHER'S farm in or near Cutler, Fairfield Tshp., Washington Co., Ohio in 1915. No family members mentioned on the back of the card.

To view this postcard, just click on this link:

If anyone knows of this family, please let me know.

My family in Ohio had some kind of connection with the CAROTHER'S on this farm, in this county during 1910 - 1920. My Grandfather, Zenner E. TAYLOR, visited this family and helped Mr. Jim Carother's with farm work during 1917.

The only CAROTHER'S I found in this area was during the 1910 Census:

Andrew L. CAROTHER'S, 59 (b: 1851, PA), farmer (general farm,) both parents b: PA
Euphena, wife, 55, (b: 1855, OH) married for 22 years, 3 children born, 3 children living, Father b. OH, Mother b. MD
Marsell L., daughter, 19, (b: 1891, OH) single
Eliza J., daughter, 16, (b: 1894, OH) single.

Source: 1910 Census, Fairfield Tshp., Washington Co., OH
T-624, Roll No: 1237, Book No: 1, Page 157a (Genealogy.Com)
Orig. Census Sheet No: 6A, ED: 134

Bye for now, Bruce
