I have a Mary Elizabeth Tyler who married a L. S. Carnline on 25 September 1898 in Sabine Parish, according to the book Sabine Parish Marriages 1843 - 1900. My Mary Elizabeth would have been about 42 in 1900. Her parents were Mary E. Self and Jacob Tyler, and she was born in Sabine Parish. Could Mary Elizabeth Tyler have been the second wife of L. S. (Shelton) Carnline or is there another L. S. Carnline in Sabine Parish? Where does this census show Mary to be born, and were there any Tylers living nearby? Thanks!
