I am also decended from Jeremiah Carnley who married Mary Kelly in Pike County, AL on 26MAY1836. Their daughter Matilda Carnley (born 28OCT1843 Pike Co., died 31MAY1927 Wallace, AL)was my g-g-grandmother. She married James Franklin Heathcock 15OCT1866 in Monroe Co. AL. according to the marriage licence "at the home of her mother Mary Carnley".
My grandmother told me several years back that Mary Kelly is buried near Monroeville, AL. Do you have any info on this? (she was in Monroe county in the 1860's.) I have her date of birth at about 1820 probably South Carolina.
I have Jeremiah Carnley born about 1810 in South Carolina as the son of Lewis Carnley and Vica (?). Do you have a date and location
for death?
