The following related to Daniel Carnline and Rosannah Hendrix is from the Hendrix and Stacey history. In the Hendrix family history, Rosannah Hendrix, dau. of Jonathan & Adeline Hendrix, is also recorded as Leah. Daniel's surname is recorded as Corley, the son of Jacob Corley and Betty Hendrix. Jonathan and Betty were siblings & Adeline, Jonathan's wife, were 1st cousins. Daniel and Leah were cousins. Notes in the Hendrix family records speculate that Daniel was killed in the "Wawr". Rosa Hendrix, sister of Jonathan and Betty, married Jerry Canteline, another spelling of the name (today mostly called Carnley in south Alabama and the panhandle of Fla.) Stacey family history shows that Martha Ann Stacey married William Harvey Carrline and Sarah Jane Stacey married Milton Carnline (Note: CarNline & CarRline
George Washington Stacey, Sr. and Elizabeth ?? were parents to the wives. W.H. and Milton were half-brothers. Their father was Jeremiah Canteline. Mary Ann Long was the mother of William and Martha Cartwright was the mother of Milton. Descendants of the men who married Staceys are called Carnley. They moved out of Monroe County, Ala. to Santa Rosa County, Fla and most of the Alabama countied bordering the panhandle region.
