Judy,

The L. S. Carnline on the 1900 census for Sabine Parish is the L. S. Carnline who married Mary Elizabeth Tyler. The census record states that they had only been married two years, which would be correct since they married 25 Sept. 1898. Her parents, Jacob and Mary (my gg-grandparents), and her sister, Delilah Allen (wife of GW Allen), are also listed nearby in the same district. I am trying to determine if this is a second marriage for either L. S. or Mary, given that they are 63 and 42, and would have been 61 and 40 when they married.
