William H. Carney b.May 1854 of Indiana
Posted by: Diane McKim Snibley Date: May 20, 1998 at 11:19:16
  of 2757

I found William on the 1910 census living in Springfield, MO with his 2nd wife Rebeca and my mother Clara Mable Carney b. 10-10-1901. The census states that William and both of his parents were born in Indiana. William probably died about 1911-12 in Springfield, MO. The step mother then placed Clara in an orphanage. Shortly after she was taken in as a foster child of the Carnagie family of Polk Co. MO.

William married Ida Mills b.Aug 1879 in Fayette Co., Ill. They were living in E St Louis, Ill in the 1900 census. It is believed she died in child birth.

Any information you may have on these people would be greatly appreciated.
