My grandfather Edward Joseph Carney was born in the early 1900's in Scobeyville, NJ. Currently Scobeyville is a portion of Colt's Neck, NJ. His father's name was John Henry Carney, and his father was Michael Carney...but where was Michael from ? No one seems to know. Any info would be a great help as we are trying to compile the genealogy before all of our older relatives are gone. Thanks..
