Mary Ann Parsons was my g grandmother. The records unearthed by a
genealogist in this country show that she was born in Ireland in June of
1830, immigrated to the U.S. in 1852, married John Carney on July 1,
1861, had several children, including my grandmother, and died October
5, 1920 in Charleston South Carolina.
Her death certificate shows her mother's name as Bridget Parsons (no
maiden name given) and her father's Christian name was unknown. Is it
possible that you would have information concerning her parentage?
