In my family tree I see a William J. Carney who appears to have died in 1943. He was the son of Peter Carney and Mary Roche. He had 7 siblings, Ellen, Thomas, Frank, Katie, Elizabeth d. 1940 and Anna d. 1902. This family may have lived near Richfield Springs NY since many Carrney family members lived in Ilion, NY which is not far from there.
