Thomas Carney of Norfolk Co., VA had a daughter, Elizabeth, who married a Miers. This could be who you are looking for, but I suspect she was born a bit before 1730 since this Elizabeth died 1758. She left a will naming sons David, Thomas, Joshua and sons in law William Powell and John Hatton and daughter Mary (evidently she had three daughters, but did not name the first two, only their husbands.
