It is interesting that the Fyfe and Carney names are connected here. My wife's grandfather, Archibald Fyfe, emigrated from Rutherglen, Scotland in 1909 to Massachsetts. The Ship's Manifest showed that he was going to Aunt A. Grace CARNEY's on Charlotte Street, Worchester, Massachusetts. He later moved on to Detroit. During WWI he worked near London, was engaged to a Londoner, returned and brought her over. She too reported that she was going to Aunt Grace CARNEY's in Worchester. They both settled in Detroit. Do you know of any connection?
