My Carney line is out of Altoona, with descendants settling in the Punxsutawney and Pittsburg area. James Aloysius Carney was the patriarch of that branch. He was born in 1860 in Altoona of Joseph Carney and Ann Jane Owen. I have traced James' line back to Ireland (Daniel Donnell Carney and Margaret Dallas). Any of your line live in those areas?
